Presented by Antonio Sausys.
Trauma is often approached through survival and adaptation — but less often through the lens of loss. In this workshop, we create space for what is rarely named: that trauma often includes the loss of safety, identity, trust, and connection — and that these losses deserve to be recognized and honored.
Through a blend of guided reflection, mindful discussion, and somatic tools (including breathwork and gentle movement), we’ll explore how grief can offer a compassionate and meaningful frame for understanding trauma’s impact.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand trauma’s emotional weight through grief
- Integrate a grief-informed perspective into practitioner – therapist’s trauma work
Audience
This training is designed for Practitioners, therapists, and caregivers.
